In the Freshman Collaborative, we hold students to the highest expectations. Students are expected to abide by the following rules:

Disciplinary Policy - Teacher Detentions
In addition to following the rules outlined in the student handbook, all freshmen are expected to follow classroom rules. As a collaborative, we feel that all students must adhere to classroom policy in order to be successful.
Teacher detentions will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week. Students must arrive promptly on the bell at 2:02; dismissal time is 2:30. A detention must be served within a week of being assigned.
If a student does not appear for a teacher detention, disciplinary action will be forwarded to the Vice Principal. If a student is assigned three teacher detentions within the collaborative per semester, disciplinary action will be forwarded to the vice principal.
Each teacher reserves the right to use her discretion in each situation. Should a student repeatedly violate any one of the rules listed below each teacher reserves the right to forgo the teacher detention and defer that student to the vice principal.
The following behaviors constitute a teacher detention:
- Be prepared
- Be on time and in your seat

- Food, candy, and drinks are prohibited in the classroom without permission from the teacher
